good or bad idea?

i been thinkin about gettin a Boss CH-650 to power some components. bridged, they claim 500 x 2, i think it would be pretty nice if i could 225- 275 x 2 outta them ( since they ARE overrated)

is this a good idea or no?

depends on how much that bish costs. personally, i would rather wreck my car than put boss in it.

i might can find one on ebay. the one i saw was for $130, but i know i can find something cheaper.

I used to have boss and mobile authority back in the day.....and it made my JL sound like crap...totally different from when I upgraded to the soundstream amp......I dont kno about them now but they were crap back then.....
