good or bad ground? **pics**

2000 explorer xlt in the back i lifeted up the carpet and there are a few bolts i was wondering if they would work as a ground. it would be nice because it would be like a 1 foot run... one is closer to the bumper about a few inches in from the hatch and the other is another foot closer to the interior, the one closer to the interior holds a U bolt looking thing that sticks up through the carpet but the head is really small. im trying to load pics off my camera but my camera will not seem to cooperate...

if your really worried about which ones best use your dmm on ohms setting and see which one has the lowest ohm load that one will be best!

The best ground IMO is to run a dedicated ground wire.

For every run of 0 or 4 gauge or whatever the hell you run, just run the same thing for the ground.

yes my run in 1/0 and so is my ground... just trying to find a goot bolt... will use my dmm though

the best bolt is the one you insert yourself. drill, sand, bolt, silicone.

i never use existing bolts. i never use seatbelt bolts. i never use suspension bolts.
