Hey, I'm new here, and I'm just wondering what a good, $230.00 or under 800-1,000 Watt amp would be. It will most likely be pushing a JL Audio 12 or 13W7.

That 12W7 is a retarded single voice coil 3ohm which forces you to spend more than you want on the amp. Why do you want an expensive sub and cheap amp?

What impedance will you be wiring to? I think kyou can wire to 1.5 ohms at the lowest with the W7.

And why are you going with the W7? Have you got it yet?

If not, I'd suggest you look into some other options unless you are getting a GREAT deal on one.
