Im going to go out on a limb here and say it's most likely garbage wire, mostly because there is no way you will run 2500 watts through 4awg.

Either go kicker or knukonceptz, or walmart if money is tight, and hell you really don't even need a 4 awg kit. A high quality 8awg kit will work just as good (kicker or knu.)
