well im about to get a 2002 VW GTI and i was wondering if u guys think its a good idea to throw a BTL with a sundown 1500d powering it in the back of it???

Just do it, then if u hear alot of rattling do the sound deadening (which u probably will have to at least a little)

yea i dont wanna any rattling at all and also another questiong would i need an ALT upgrade for that S.D 1500d?

thing about rattling is u cant really find it until u have ur system in, then just find out where they are comming from and take them out 1 by 1, I all of mine except one spot. I dont know what ur stock alt is, but do the Big 3 (search) and then test the system, if u see some dimming u may need an alt upgrade

would the 1600 watts that the Sundown puts out be enough for the BTL or would it be better to get a lil more wattage?

If u dont have a budget limit, then 2 Sundownz strapped together? 3,000 at 2 ohms underrated. The BTL can probably take 3,000 easy. but if ur worried u can just set ur gains right and feed like 2,500 to it
