My XXX has been sitting out in my shed for a few months, Waiting to get installed..But from the looks of things I dont think thats gonna happen for quite some time.. I have a system (or somethin like that) in my room compiled of all my dads old junk..a Quasar Eqaualizer..Onkyo TX3000 (100wt. rms) amp. & 2 AR(??!) 8"s..I have no idea what year this stuff came out, But my guess is over 20 years ago..Its all works fine though..I also have a 15" no namebrand sub I got off one of my friends..Im wondering if i could pull that out and throw the XXX in there temporarily..Im not too sure howd id wire it up..but..I just wanna know if this is a good idea or not before i start rippin stuff apart.

make sure the equipment can handle the XXX weight //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif yea just throw it in and it should wire up pos/neg. i know in some concert and home audio speakers run at 8ohms though. so you wouldnt wanna oad the amp down too much as it isnt built to push an XXX ..... give it a try

So is that 15" sub self powered?

Could you give us some rough dimensions of the cabinet?

It'd also be helpful to know the impedance of the driver in there if it's an actively powered subwoofer, because you don't wanna give it too low of a load and fry the amp.
