Good HU for ~$220 to use with factory speakers?

I have a '97 Nissan Maxima SE with the bose sound system. I plan to buy the Scosche Nissan/Infiniti Factory Integration Adapter, to pair up with an aftermarket HU.

I'm just wondering what would be a good HU for the price? I was looking at some Eclipse, Alpine, Pioneer and they all seem legit. I really want one with a good EQ to tune my stock speakers.

Is there also a HU with good Pre-Amp outputs with a dvd player? I plan to add a 7" screen in the double din spot of where my stock HU is right now.
