good home reciever

i need something to push a MTM or two and maybe a few surround speakers as well at a sub. sub most likely going to ran off a plate amp. doesnt have to be a changer or anything pretty much any format(cd, cdrd, dvd) will work as long as it has an aux in. any suggestions?
