Is there ANY other company out there comparible? I'm hearing mean green, excessive, but who can I email for a quote?

That would be called hearsay...

The company is willing to back up there products if an item failed they would be willing to help you out as long as you had it installed right, with the directions they gave you.

Installing an alternator properly is not difficult by any means.

Disconnect your battery, disconnect the leads from the alternator and the harness, Unbolt it. And it is out. If you upgrade to a high output alternator you may need to change to some 1/0 wire under the hood.. but thats all there really is to it.

Add - charge battery with trickle charger to your list and you have pretty much all you need if you are merely upgrading. If you are replacing a bad Alt, you should verify that there was no other issues that caused that unit to go bad other then age (ie weak battery, bad cables, etc..)
