are the reference series supposed to be better than the rubicon series? I always thought that the rubicons were the better line since they sound more familiar but after looking at this threas and lookin at other threads, I notice more and more people recommending the reference series. thanks

Not really. They are both great. Reference series had more problems than the Rubi's did.

Actually, I think they may even use the same boards.........but a lot of the reference amps had problems.
