has anyone order car audio equipment off of ebay...and if so what ebay store did u order from and did u have any problems with the items bought and was the delivery quick?

the reason i'm asking this becuz i'm thinking about getting something from ebay and i want everyones opinion...if possible

I just bought my Premier HU over ebay from electronicsoutlet.com. It was factory refurbished but nobody could ever tell, came with everything I needed and I had it installed the night it came in...good stuff. Got it for CHEAP too. That guy's good.

Right now I'm waiting for two Planet Audio amps I bought from audiovideooutlets1. Hella cheap prices on more factory refurb stuff - he sells planet audio and boss. Only complaint with this guy so far is that he took a while to ship it - I ordered Sunday and it just shipped yesterday.

Just pay attention to feedback and their policy on returns and you should be safe. Besides, way I figure it, if the thing screws up I'll buy a new one and still have paid less than I would have in town.

The only ebay stores I've bought from have been HighDesertAudio and TheStereoDirect....both of which are basically authorized factory outlets; HDA being the factory outlet for Rockford Fosgate and TSD being the factory outlet for Mitek (MTX, Coustic, Streetwires, etc).

so basically everything except wires, HU and DVD player came from ebay and thats just the car electronics. So far I have yet to have one single issue with any seller ever.

i bought my xxv-05v from these guys. won it on ebay on a friday, recieved it the following thursday. they are in CA and i'm in MA.....thats dam fast...less than a week coast to coast is almost unheard of. also i had the ups tracking info about 2hrs after i won the auction....couldn't be happier, especially since i was trusting an ebay company with $1500.

i have bought my hu and interiors from ikesound on ebay, my sub from hifisoundconnection and my sub amp from audiovibrationz. i got my speaker adapter plate from mjmautoinvations

bought a few things from dynamicautosound. Diamond Audio Hex comps, Pheonix Gold T1200.1, PG Powergrid. Overall it was good transactions. My Hex comps tweeter crapped out on me after 7 months and as stated in their aucion it came with 1 yr warranty. Well they replaced them with a brand new set for nothing. So that was cool.

I buy all my wire and interconnects from hifisoundconnection they have extremely fast shipping and good prices. Bought 3 Stinger bullet series interconnects, 1/0 gauge power wire, 12 gauge speaker wire and a few other randoms. I really like this company.

I advise you stay away from the following though.,hifisoundconnection - mostly refurbs sold as new

locust audio,butchers - they do not know how to pack a sub

Induaudio huge selection,great prices fast shipping - horrid communication

I have never bought equipment from hifisoundconnection, but have bought alot of wire and interconnects. always brand new on those.

Some manufacturer's do have select ebay stores that they will allow to offer limited manufacturer warranties (for example, Kicker allows sell2all to sell refurbs on ebay with short manufacturer warranties). Then you have HighDesertAudio and TheStereoDirect; which are literally the companies themselves selling on ebay through a "factory outlet" type store. Those will also carry short manufacturer warranties (90 days in most cases).

But yes, for the most part, any ebay purchase will have no manufacturer warranty.

Teamcsw is where i bought my viper 1200.1, pretty quick shipping and came with manufactor warranty

I bought my premier 860 from finestdeals and it worked fine and dandy he was pretty quick at shipping too

and some others but i cant remember them
