About all you can do in that situation is use the car battery for power source, power up for quick function(power up,and take chance it works)..Other than that if there is time..car battery..Ipod/Smart phone with to rcas,and amp to subs wired for full function..??PITA, but??

My neighbor has this amp on an XFL 12@2ohms and it slamming the dogpizz out of it in an xcab chevy..stock 140 amp alt,big 3, and an Orileys Super Start AGM battery with 0ga supply

This is a little bad azz @1 ohm load too for the money..It should push a pair of VFL 8s @1 ohm pretty hard,and decent

Id still do the big 3 and 0ga supply and one good agm battery on stock alt to feed it right

Yes, I'm going to get some royal excelene welding cable and an agm. Budget for the entire build is around 5-700.

At the same time I'll be doing a similar build for my Titan Crew Cab. I really don't know which brands to trust anymore though.. Ive heard those hybrid ab amps don't do rated, then I've heard they do... the PPI amps - I don't know what to think of anymore, they were great with the og bk 1800.1 but now they seem very overrated.

I did get some of the first runs of AB amps from Mylows10..Mine get down just fine,though people have had issues since they are being produced elsewhere since?? But, I like them and do more than I expected out of them.Ive never clamped one..With two on 4 12s@1 ohm,and Im moving my entire dash and even moving a panel on a van two lanes over,I think its doing just fine for me..4 should really get down just fine,and run a little cooler for me.Deff need to supply them with power needed to perform.That 26801d is doing great for how compact it is.Chassinbass can chime in a bit more on the ppi 1000.1d.I ran one on a pair of XFL 10s and it slammed pretty dammned good for such a small amp..I ran on stock 90 amp alt with 0 ga and two agm batts with an eld bypass in my 99 crv.From my experience of both amps...I liked the 26801 better

Just checked on Sonics site there only 158.99 WOW get two and run two decent 12s that thing would kick azz!

I think I paid a little under 200 for it new and it pounds pretty good but I havent clamped it I am running it at 1 ohm on my old C2 threatcon and for kicks I metered it sealed on the dash at 139 on music amp can do more but when I had it really poundin sub poped loud lol so I had to back it down the volume. LOL..yes sir..just a little to much on the sub..gaining pressure in the box and looking for a way out..lol..Pop!That amp did pretty good on a pair of xfl 10s..Slammed them pretty hard @2Oclock position..For the size, I prob should have kept it,as it did very well.But Hell I had too many amps at the time and didnt have a use for it as I had others.Deff not a bad amp for the price range for 1k

Its pretty impressive ! I even get a little wind wiper dance too ! When I get tired of all this BIG crap I will pron run two to two 10s or 12 and get my interior back lol and @ 159 bucks I doubt there is anything that compares and its seems to be as tough as my 900.4 too and there so small.
