I found a girl selling her 2001 Camaro for $1,500. It has like 60k miles on it, and shes the original owner. Thinking about it... How are camaros for repair, gas mileage, and most importantly car audio?

actually yes. i talked to her about it awhile back when i was putting a sub in back. she said the only big thing to go wrong is the alt. she said she just keeps the maintenance done from the dealership. it is a v6 also

any thing chevy is pretty easy to fix far as gas mileage probably ok maybe around 16 max in the city

Hmm hers doesnt seem to have anything wrong with it, just a few scratches that'll buff out. Its a sweet dark blue, but she put a ghey pink pin strip down the sides... easily removable..

What's wrong with a v6? It's not for going fast, just a point a to point b car with some soft tunes.... Only 16? really hmm

nothing wrong with a v6 but ive been a mechanic for 15 years and have first hand experience.

v8 F-bodies worked on = 3

v6 F-bodies worked on = > 25

good deal.

gas their around 20 in the city if you drive them nicely.

car audio. their freakin loud. but not much space to work with.

looks, i love the looks of ***** ams and firebirds, camaros. eh not so much.

they drive nice and who ever says v6's are junk, they have a 3.8L and its incredibly reliable.

and 60k is extreamly good, that car should go for 5-6k

not that many really.trust me man look at the history of all the GM cars with the 3.4 none have proven reliable.intake gaskets,head gaskets and many more problems

v8's can do over 20mpg on the highway too
