i have these and they work fine for my 1/0 welding cable

true that. those look like a good pair at a good price. harbor freight takes forever to ship though, and I need them by this weekend.. ready to get every thing in!

oh, sorry i was talking about just cuttin the cable jacket off of the bare wire, not cutting through the wire its self LOL..

yeah with a razorblade would be pretty tricky

If you have the cash get a pair of klein ratcheting cable cutters, best **** cutters ever.

I got a used pair that was a little dulled and they still slice through 1/0 like a hot knife through butter.

Shreveport is the closest to my area.. and its an hour and a half away. factor in gas prices and time (time is money!) I'm better off going to sears and buying a pair for 30 bucks :/

HF has never been that reliable for me....especially since they guarantee 48 hr processing.

and you are not helping someone getting a few bucks for their trouble

hey man thanks. Let me think about it for a little bit. I have some more ideas in my head to get clean cuts on these wires. I think my stepdad might have some bolt cutters. need to use some resources around here first, not sure why I haven't thought more about it. my gramps might even have a good pair he'll probably give to me. just wanted a good pair that I can own. thanks for all of the suggestions.
