Good buy for $15??

I was a at a yard sale and came across an alpine 7873 which they wanted $15 bucks for it, I went ahead and got it since it was only missing the wire harness. Just wanted to ask all of you other guys who might be familiar with this older head unit if this was a pretty decent buy or did i just get ripped off lol? Looks pretty old but idk, hopefully some of you guys have some helpful input. BTW should i sell or keep it? A buddy of mine of was interested but dont even know what this thing is worth. Thanks

Grab a harness and test it out. If it works, keep it for a back up.

The faceplate is selling for $70 on ebay.

Even if it doesnt work you can make money.

Yea it actually powers up, i tested it on my buddy's truck who also has an alpine h/u and was the one actually wanting it. But in that case, i guess i will keep it since ive seen the harnesses go for about 10 bucks shipped. You guys have any idea what i might be able to get out of it if i sell it? Overall condition is nice, it doesnt have major blemishes or anything of the sort. Thanks i appreciate your guy's input

Haha i actually saw that after a quick google search on the model number but couldnt really find any good solid info other than that it was pretty much discontinued or on old forums that are a bit outdated to get a good estimate of its value
