That PE sub is a worthless piece of garbage. Regardless of what they say, it models like a woofer, not a subwoofer.
If you're talking about THE best bargain in all of subwoofers, then these are what you want:

The DVC line is simply the best you can get for the money.
i agree, even that DVC is more of a woofer to me. says it plays to 1500hz.

i think ill just run those clarions. they're a few hundred more to buy them at radio shack than online even after shipping, but like i said i can spread the price out over 12 months with no interest so itll be alot easier to pay for than in one lump sum if i order online. plus, they're backordered on sonic electronix anyways.

No, trust me on the DVC. I own over 20 of those of various sizes, and they're my go to subwoofers. Trust me, a 10 or 12" one of those is plenty to start vibrating walls in your house. I'm dead serious when I say they are THE best subwoofers for the money on the market, and nothing even comes close. They perform kinda like low end subs from brands like MB Quart, but they are outstanding. Hell, I'm using one in the project in the home audio forum called the Unitas. It's sitting right next to me actually.

i meant the dvc is a good woofer
the LAT is all looks and wow, like a fancy technologically advanced audiobahn

its late i cant type anymore
No I understood your post just fine. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I was just commenting on this:

Revolutionary technology, massive sound, and Alpine — they just go together. Alpine's LAT Subwoofer Systems utilize cutting-edge Linear Array Transducer (LAT) technology, which uses a series of small woofers to create sound output equal to that of a much larger subwoofer, while using much less space.
Yeah...it's nowhere near cutting edge. It's rare because there are very few applications in which using a LAT setup is the only option, and those applications are NOT for car audio.
