Good budget 1 ohm mono amp?

As stated it needs to be 1 ohm stable, and about a 1000 watts. It's for two CVR15's, and I was going to just get a ZX1000.1, but from what I've read it's only 2 ohm stable

I'd go with that one, but it is over your budget. Someone here might have something used they could help you out with for that price. Try Craigslist and shoot some ideas back on this thread.

The problem is I have money tied up in my MMATS amps and I didn't want to dump a whole lot more money into a system. My MMATS amp is a 500.1 and I'd guess it does over the 500 watts, but that's not enough for the CVR15's.

Only Autoteks I would recommend are Mean Machines and Super Sports. I had that one I suggested and loved it. do this though....... save up 250, go to audioque.com and get a 1200D. Feel free to research the amp here. They are a great company with great amps and subs.

I understand you wanting to save a few bucks, but nobody said this was gonna be cheap and easy. If you want to wet your whistle, start off cheap. But I can almost guarantee you that more sooner than later, you will want to switch your stuff out with something that hits harder.

Also that power Acoustik is only stable down to 2 ohms. And why not sell the Mmats on here?
