good and bad news

if you've read my other thread, my system now bumps. now for the bad news. my friend had his dmm on my amp while i was playin music, and at one point it got as low as 8.5..and stayed at a steady 9 ish volts. i have 1/0 power/ground, stock alt stock bat and no big 3. any cheap suggestions..

went to a shop today to have my alarm checked out and fog lights fixed and shit. i told the guy what happend he said put a kinetik 800 under the hood and a 14-1800 in the trunk..i said wont i need a bigger alternator he said no cuz the kinetik batterie draw less amps..?

don't buy batteries, get an alternator

IDK exactly what you are running.....but if its under 1.5-2kw you may not need a new alty....depends on your altys rating....before you upgrate the alternator, new battery and Big 3 is in order....

Im surprised that your car stayed on also

I don't understand why the car would die. I can remove the battery from the car while it is on and it won't die. It is an 89 cutlass ciera

My 66 mustang can drive around town with no battery or alt if I kick start it.
