Good amp for an HDC3 15?

Well I'm going with a copper coil HDC3 tuned to 38hz in a 4.5 cu box.

Anyways, I was wondering what kind of power a 15 could take daily. I'm looking to get an amp off of amazon, since I have a deal to get it for around 1/4 of the price. Thanks guys!

I have a Sundown SAE-1200D on my sisters 15" HDC3 and its plenty happy. Could use more power, but its enough for her.

I'd do something from the 1500-2000w range.

Ok, any ideas on amps? Hifonics, Power Acoustik? I might be able to get an Audiopipe, but it would be too much power I think, and not the right ohms. Soundstream 2200D tower maybe, just throwin out ideas.

Well what coil config is your sub? Dual 1 or 2 ohm?

It is dual 2 ohm. The sub is up at the top that I'm gonna buy from someone.

hes getting the copper coils not alum like you have.

i would say a saz1500d would do it just fine.

Would a Hifonics 1610D still power it pretty well? How overrated are the Hifonics amps?

He can't do much with the amp's you guys are posting since he clearly said in his first post he's going to get it from Amazon. the 1601D would push it but it would still be asking for a little more power. If you're really hard up for money and can't throw out the extra cash for the one I posted then the 1601d would be good enough until you want it louder.

What about the 2010D. I think that one would probably give the sub what it wants. Not really sure as I am new to Car Audio, but my budget is pretty strict, which is why I am looking into Amazon because of my hookup. Also, what would the 2010D be pushing at 12v. I'm thinking of getting a kinetic 1800 or a yellowtop to power the sub.
