good amp for a type r

what would be a good amp to power a 12" type r sub? i'm looking to spend maybe about 150-200 for it

which type r??? Dual 4 or Dual 2??? Either way, I would look for about 800 watts at which ever ohm load you need.... If dual 4, you want to look for the ohm rating at 2 ohms... If it is dual 2 you need to look at the ohm rating at either 1 or 4 ohms...

Dual 2 is the 1222

Dual 4 is the 1242

A nice orion 1200D should do.

Or maybe a 2500D? lol. That should make it wang pretty nicely.

i don't know if it's going to be a 2 or a 4. i'm still trying to get a system put togeather and it seems to me the type r is nice. what's the difference between 2 or 4? i saw some guy wanting to sell a 2 with a box and i was thinking i might buy it off of him if he hasn't sold it yet
