good 15 at low power?

My buddy has the 15" RE SR that 95BlackGA is talking about, he's just using it until he gets an amp for his new Fi Q. He'll probably sell it for $140 shipped. If you're interested I'll let him know. PM me.

DD also lists the RMS of a 9500 at 1500...

DD is known to over build products instead of unde building them...but it doesn't take a lot of power to make DD's get loud....I have the USACi world record in 0-300 class on two DD 9515's on a single Kicker XS100 which was about 600 watts each....so a DD 1515 on 300 watts can be very impressive //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Has that even gotten going yet? I know they're supposed to be great, inexpensive speakers, but even the website says 2006. Last I checked it wasn't up yet.

And Lousiana_CRX, I know DDs don't need much to get loud, I'm just trying to give him all the info. I would love to have some 1508s and give them 300-600 a piece.

On Tuesday, July 24, we will officially begin production. Our first offerings will be at some great prices as we have parts we need to use up. We're out of space! We have more parts inventory coming soon also and need to make room for it. So we'll be building some limited runs of drivers to use up VC's, cones, frames, etc. All good parts, but not specific to our long term product line for cosmetic reasons or assembly process reasons. For example, we have about 60 12" poly cones here, but we plan for all aluminum cones in our new line, so we'll be blowing out the poly cone woofers.

All in all we will have some huge deals on woofers. We'll be blowing these out at the OEM pricing levels. As an example we will have about 20pcs of an original AV15 equivalent, alum cone, santoprene surround, 23mm Xmax, going for only $125 each. Each driver will come with measured parameters and warranty.
