good 10's with a small box?

I have a 2000 f250 ext cab with a mtx thunderform box under the rear seat. Had 2 ed sq10's and 1 blew so looking for an upgrade. Looking for 2 subs that will sound good in a small enclosure. Box is only 1.2 cf and sub has to have a 4.5" or less mounting depth. Using a kicker 750.1. Nothing too expensive.

RE just came out with some shallow mount subs...honestly can't think of anything with less than a 5" depth

i'd say Dayton HO would work awesome but they are right at 5" deep if i remember right. too bad.

Ok, Ive been searching and searching and have gotten tons of mixed reviews on the kicker and pioneers. Do you think the kickers would work in my box? The re's wont work with my amp but how much are they? Any reviews on the clarion shallow mounts?

This year Memphis has come out with a thin line; mtx has a thin line; kicker has a thin line; jl has a thin line; soundstream has a thin line its basicly which brand u like the best the memphis or the kicker maybe the mtx would b the best compatible subs for ur amp tho

two 10" eclipse aluminums. 200wrms a peice. they sound **** good and SLAM in custom built boxes that fit under your seats in pickups.

why? they are efficient enough not to need a lot of power. i was running a zx750.1 at 2 ohms on a different sub, switched to this single 4 ohm sub and it's just as loud with half the power. my old sub was a Treo SSi BTW. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
