yeah i have no clue about batterys or caps, i just know im doing big 3 anyday then i want to put a new battery up front and a battery in the back

Get yourself a deka from either bad4health or dbez for $100-$130. Toss it in the trunk if you’re on a budget keep your stock battery under the hood and with at least a 100amp alt you should be good for 2000 or so watts.

Caps sure are sexy though lol

Yeah, forget about a cap, if you want something in the trunk and don't wanna spend a ton, even a small battery is loads better than a cap would ever be.

I think your biggest obstacle is the alternator, from what I hear is that hondas reduce the output from the alternator to help gas mileage. this output reducer does not respond quick enough for higher powered audio gear. you will have to do some googling to see if this applies to the accord (I know the civic has this), and what the procedure is to by-pass it.

Is it just me or do I see no mention of "honda", or "accord" in any post in this thread or sigs?

Must be a combination of the beers and this sites f-d up internet cache (had this problem before). Because I don't see that either now.

Caps are a waste and so are batt's, if you need more juice then get a h.o. alt with good idle output..
