Ordering a 15" XXX as soon as i get my paycheck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

I don't have nearly enough power for it right now (about 700w), but i'm thinking about getting the RE 35.1, a JBL 1200.1, or the NINe.1 whenever it comes out.

I can't wait!!!

I wanted to, but I dont have enough for a nice box to get its potential out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif oh well ED15A //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I just ordered two 12" xxx's myself. They should be here next week. I'll be running 2 Better Audio 1600M1 amps to them. This is gonna be sweet, can't wait. Now I just need to change my screen name //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

REAL good sub just do it right the first time. And 700 rms should be enough to max it out just depends on how big the box is. I only have 800 going to mine.

Yeah i'm going to run it w/ 700 or less for a couple of weeks to break it in. But i remember seeing a post by Rangerman that said that 1600 RMS is the most you should run it. And i think that those three amps would run the sub a lot better than mine, which will heat up and shut off in like 10 minutes if i run it near peak power (1000w)

It's a PPI-PCX 2125, which i think is a little underrated @ 500w RMS.

And as soon as i get it, i'm going to take measurements, and make the ported box on respl.com for SQL, unless someone has any other reccomendations on box vol, and what to tune the box @.

I get paid next wensday, so this post is a little premature.. but i'm still pumped about getting one. I'll be the ONLY one around my area w/ one.

Also, something kinda funny.

I'm putting this in a nice, custom painted '92 wrangler, lifted 6", w/ Nice rims + 35"tires.. haha. I just think it is funny. I'll get some pictures of it whem i'm done. Everything should be installed by the end of the month, it's still snowing around here, so i can't put the tires on, and when i have the box built for the XXX.

i think its kinda weird spending a good amount of money on a system for a wrangler.. It is a hardtop, so the acoustics are OK.. but they still **** compared to a car/truck/suv.

-- also, do you guys think that this sub will outperform 2 12" Diamond Audio M5 inch subs? I had them running off the same PPI amp, in a small sealed box untill i blew them up... dunno why, but they're done.
