is there any way to wire it @1ohm it's 2+2+2+2 i bought an gen xx hercules if i wired only two coils would that make it 1ohm or would the amp be able to handle half ohm please help thanks

.5 ohms or 2, 4 are the only options for that subwoofer configuration according to the search i did on it.

if theres a way, i'd be interested to learn too.

i'm in ft myers do you think my amp could handle 5ohm or just run it @2ohms they say it's made for this speaker states 1ohm not 5ohm

i think you're amp could handle it.. yes.. i wouldn't let your amp handle that for more than a few minutes though.

wire it up 2 ohms.. if you dont ahve enough power.. get another one of the same amps and put two amps on that sub.. then you could put it at 1 ohm with 2-2ohm voice coils per amplifier.
