Going to court tomorrow, what to expect?

Alright, so last month I was pulled over and had a warrant for a bullshit no seatbelt ticket I didn't pay off. When I was pulled over I got 4 tickets : no insurance, expired inspection, expired drivers license, expired registration. Since then I have insurance and my registration, I renewed my license online but haven't recieved it yet.

So I'm under the presumption that they will dismiss the no insurance and expired registration, that will leave expired license and inspection which I will set up a payment plan. Does this all sound pretty much on point?

My priorities weren't in order, guess I learned the hard way? But yea, my license is on the way and I'm having my mechanic do a tune up this saturday and figure out why my check engine light is on then I will be getting the inspection.

I doubt they will dismiss the no insurance ticket... At least I know they won't here! no insurance is no insurance, that is that... they will probably dismiss the expired license and expired inspection if anything.

my situation:

window tint

driving with suspended license

driving without insurance

I was arrested, they impounded my car and on top of all the tickets stuck me with a $500 "civil penalty" as well as the $450~ tow/storage fee. I got insurance on the car and got my license back. the judge completely dropped the window tint ticket, dropped the driving with suspended license ticket down to a driving with no license ticket (like $200 less) and then dropped the insurance ticket to the lowest fine they could. All in all it cost me like $1500 to get my car out of the impound lot and get my license back...

For those who will ask, I was on a payment plan for some tickets that "my car" got while I was away at basic training. I forgot to make a payment so they automatically re suspended my license, just so happened the next day was the day that my insurance company runs the motor vehicle records thing and seen the suspension and therefore dropped my insurance. I got pulled over for my window tint about 3 days later and that is when I found out I was suspended. The next day I called my insurance company to get proof of insurance and that is when I found out I had no insurance at the time I was pulled over. The fallowing week I got both letters in the mail telling me I was suspended and that my insurance company dropped me. I took everything to court and the judge dropped everything as much as possible and ended up saving me like $1200~

I would get a ride with someone to the court house. They may check to see if you drove, and since you don't have the license in hand and possibly cleared, you could open a can of worms. I've seen it happen here in MD. Guy had to go to court for a suspended license and drove himself and was asked how he got there, needless to say he told them he drove himself.

if you haven't got a letter by now, expect a letter for that insurance from the state. I forgot to pay mine and got pulled over and the cop let me go only because he knew the state was gonna kill me with the fine. I had to pay something like 500 for the fine and another 500 that next year.....

my license wasn't suspended, it just expired. it was only expired 3 days when I got pulled over last month.

If you renewed it online, print out the transaction and bring it with you. That may help.

As far as the other things, Bring as much cash as possible and try to haggle down the fines,

Like if the judge says 600 total, tell em you got 400 cash now...May work...
