No, it's not a 'donk.'

It DOES have a 454 under the hood, rebuilt TH700R4, and some 15" Z28 wheels on it.

It's in the price range I am wanting to spend (actually, about a grand less...) and looks to be pretty bulletproof (minus the factory rear end, which will be changed)

Other than that, the only plans I have are a swap to a Dakota Digital dash for current gauges that can be adapted for the 454 with different tire sizes.

Thoughts?

I still have the wheels/tires off the black 79' coupe that I had, so that's an option as well.

The price was -sub $4K. I'm just looking for something to daily in.

put those other wheels and tires on it, and ditch the lights. Those are ruining the car! Also get a different breather, i hate those ones!

I have no interntion of changing anything for a long time, except maybe the wheels/tires.

thats not a bad price boxes are kinda a dime a dozen now a day but a nice one can run a lil more i dotn know about a 454 for a daily but **** it why not

You don't often run across one with less than 60K original miles with no rust/rot and a 454 powering it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Looks good.

I think those look great in a dark color with Cragars about that size //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Probably sounds just as good...

tru plus all you have to do is throw some 22's or better on it and you can make ya money back

I enjoy ride quality, and being able to put power to the ground.

you CAN have a good ride on big rims but the tires usually have to be 40 series or more and 40 series 20"+ tires look like poop on cars

It's safe to say that REGARDLESS, I will NOT be using big wheels.

And there really isn't any comparision between a stock sized tire with the proper inflation, and a 40 series tire.

I've played around with MANY tire sizes on MANY wheel sizes (being a wheel rep for a few companies) and you might get a DECENT ride, but you're not keeping it within factory qualities.

I'm getting old, I guess.
