wow one hell of a powerful storm just came rollin through here... sky constantly lit up with lightning... for a good 5-7 min. there were strikes within 100yds of my house pretty consistently.... you guys in WI had it even worse for a good while

i better see a wall cloud today at least. We are entering summer which means mostly hot hot and dry weather. This might be the last chance to see a decent storm for a while. I'll take pics.

well, we are going to give it a shot... its only 10% hatched right now though... statement says there is bad low air flow, and it is supposed to get hot today....which means the big storms might hold off until later tonight

As weird as it sounds, Ive always wanted to experience a powerful tornado. As long as I didnt get hurt of course, just the the thought in general sounds exciting to me.

these storms are weak. Hopefully later this evening we get something firing up.

looks to me like SPC overdid the risk areas today just like yesterday.

They had 15% hatched tornado yesterday or something over alot of IA. That was a bust.

Also it looks like just a big convective mess out there, I think the best chance for isolated supercells would be into central-east illinois.

yeah, the storms are way too organized in Illinois and iowa . I think this is just round 1 of 2 rounds. Round 2 coming in later this evening and tonight.

last bad storm i had, the lighting got my dsl box, traveled back through the ethernet and roasted my ethernet card on the desktop, pretty crazy
