Going from SPL to SQL

Why would you run a mono amp for your midbasses? That will fully and totally trash the front soundstage. Also consider the new HCCA series Class D amps are not able to play above 250 Hz and have the abysmal sound quality of a Class D design. It is also quite likely that those subs you are wanting to press into mid duty won't sound that good trying to play higher frequencies. You're better off with a purpose build midbass and you NEED a Class A/B amp on any speakers up front.

id just run the Clarion deck

id hlcd components

some new XXX subs by RE

dei or orion amps from ikesound.com

THEN if you cant get the sound you want, get a Clarion or Arc Audio eq

well I've done some measuring and I can't fit the horns under the dash so the horns are a no go so its back to a traditional 2-way or 3-way setup.

I've been looking at the new XXXs but I think I'm leaning alot more towards IDQs. They may not get as loud as I want but they don't require alot of power and are some serious SQ subs.

and by REQs recomindation I'll probably be going with what Alpine processing products he posted(unless it just becomes tooo much for what I need now).
