Sweet, get some carpet on there while your getting you're HU fixed.My spl's had the same size box but the ports were twice as long (4x13), I loved it.

I have pics, but they're not digital and I don't have a scanner.

what effect did longer ports have on the sound? I cant make mine any longer than about 10 inches, I made the box pretty shallow

extend them out of the box, could've used areoports too. The smooth flare helps eliminate port noise.

you mean for box dimensions? I've read that too. someone on these forums explained that the sound waves inside the box reflected properly in a box like that... but honestly I doubt it will make any audible difference. Just make whatever fits your trunk best.
