not a huge difference, I mean when I jumped from 900 to 1500 it was a good difference because it was almost double. you will notice it that, it just want be cave in your chest difference, but I say go for it....

10*log(1600/1000) = 2.04db

But this doesn't take into account things like power compression, which could eat up a considerable amount of that increase if the driver is experiencing a decent level of power compression.

i went from 900 to 1500. and i can definitely tell a difference but i also switched out subs at the same time.
