Going active with Focal Expert PS165 questions

Im currently running this set with the included passive crossovers and it sounds pretty good, but I wanted to go active. My amp is an alpine PDX-V9 with 100Wx4 and 500Wx1. Im running 80W RMS to the components, but what do I do if I seperate them? Im pretty sure the mids would still get 80W RMS, but what do the tweeters get? I cant find anything in my manual about how much the tweeters are rated at or even their impedence rating. Is it possible to go active on the high pass and band pass filters on my amp alone or should I just stick to the factory crossovers? Would it only make sense to go active if I upgraded to an 80prs or other dsp?

i would stick with the factory crossovers unit you get a dsp/active radio to get proper signal to the tweeters and mids. the pdx-v9 does not have the correct crossover control.

Where should my high pass and or bandpass filters and crossovers be at if Im only running 2 channels off my 5 channel amp to the front door components? My birthday is coming up soon, I wonder who will buy my 80prs?

time alignment will help out a TON. just between the separation between the drivers. are the crossovers by-amp-able(lol)?

If they are then I wouldnt know. They are the ones that came with the Focal ps165 component set if that helps.

nope your might as well go active. if you want to keep it to a simple two way and sub(technically 3 way) the 80prs is a good lil unit.. you have a 4 channel and a sub amp?

I have an alpine pdx-v9 with 100Wx4 and 500Wx1 so Ive got plenty to work with. Whats your opinion on putting the focal comp sets in the front doors and some peerless SLS 8" in the rear doors in parallel on the sub channel. I would run these 3 way active with the 80prs. Would the peerless 8s be enough to not run a sub? Before this idea I was going to run 1 8" kicker compRT sub in the factory box on 300w. Which would provide more bass the peerless 8s in the rear doors or the single kicker 8 in the factory box? The rear doors would be well treated and sealed as much as possible and the factory sub box would be reinforced with fiberglass and dynamatted.
