Going active from Head Unit (880prs)

I am installing a new head unit soon, a Premier 880prs. I am considering running an active front stage, no rear fill, and a sub.

Suppose I have two 2 channel amps. Do I hook one up to the Front RCA out, and one to the Rear RCA out, and control them independently that way? Or are there two seperate RCA pairs per Front and Rear? I don't have the head unit yet, and am trying to plan my install. Does the head unit treat front and rear RCAs as equals, meaning you can choose where to cross each one? Or is it predetermined that "Front" should be for tweets, "Rear" for mids, and "Sub" for sub?

Thanks for the help guys.

It's pretty standard that "Fronts" are for tweeters, and "Rears" are for mids. I'm pretty sure the bandpassable portion of the 880PRS is on the rear channels, so you'd definitely want your mids there.
