//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifSometimes it takes me days to get it just right, I dont use the DMM to set my gains, I never have...
It happens sometimes, I once had 2 12" Jensens running off 200watts and I would put some of my friends systems to shiot, they would get all mad...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifWhat really pisses me off is that I've heard kids with Performance Teknique amps and some bigass DHD subs that sound almost as loud as mine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif
When their system is worth about 500 bucks and I have a good expensive equipment //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
They have prefab boxes and 4 gauge wire. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gifthey must have good installs ?
dude if they are that brand new you need to give them some time to break in before they put out thier entire potential.......TRY AND NEW BOX, TUNE HIGHER -cheaper than renavating the whole **** system, and probly the most effiecnt to getting louder,. play around witht he possitioninf og it
USE A DMM and see how much power ur running, it'ls quite possibly ur not getting full power from the amp, especially if the electrical isnt top notch....from what ive read int he past those orions dont like shitty electrical systems AT ALL.... measure voltage, square that voltage, then divide that by the ohms...youll get a rough estimate of ur watts....
again try faceing the box differant distances from the back, use all kinds of positioning......you'll be amazed at the dB gain just from positioning the hbox
ALL INSTALL DEPENDANT MAN
and if it still doesnt work well......then considering getting new shit.....but that the more effective/least costly/more effective to dB route than just buying new shit.....
you put a 2006 xxx with plenty of power ina shitty leaky box not positioned right.....then it'll sound like a 2001 re SE......
