Paypal won't take anything out of your account. They will say that and people tell you that but I know a couple people personally who have had negative balances for month's and nothing has ever happened. But that account can't be closed and changing the information won't change anything since they keep it all stored. I would just call and raise hell. Threaten to go talk to a lawyer or have a lawyer get in contact with them just basically try anything. They would rather just give you your money back then risk screwing up their rep any worst because alot of people still swear by paypal.

I sold an old film projector and took pictures of any scuffs that were on it and showed pictures of it working and the ad said no refunds all sales final product is 20 years old and sold AS IS

well the ****ing buyer who btw owns a ****ing shop that sells old film equipment filed a dispute saying there were scratches "the same ones I took pictures of BTW" and that the unit didnt work which I also had pictures of

I got screwed outta the 200 dollar I sold it for and that cocksucker sent me back a different unit but the same model of what I sent him

I even told paypal the guy owns a shop selling those and how am I to know that I am getting MINE back and that the ad said all sales final item sold as is asn those ****s still sided with him

I will NEVER use paypal again its a ****ing joke and so is EGAY

WRONG! my account was negative $400 due to somethign EXACTLY like this. as soon as I got the money in paypal, I transfered it to my bank account as I had to use $50~ of it to ship the item. transfered all $400 and pulled all $400 from my account a few days leter. This bank account is used ONLY for paypal to keep me from spending too much money on shit. Point being the accoutn had like $5 in it and they tried to pull teh $400 out TWICE, each time I was charged a $29 fee from my bank due to insufficient funds.

I have had that paypal for years and had a a perfect feeback and a bunch of ratings and crap so I have slowly just been paying on it. still -$250~ but it's getting there. Just sellin' stuff I was going ot throw away and lettin paypal keep whatever I get for the stuff...

I had a negative for well over 3 years now on an account for ~150 IRRC. Never paid that shit since I got an empty F'n envelope for some tickets I bought. Disputed with my CC. I just opened another paypal account under the then wifes name and used it until about 3 months ago. Opened an account using the same email address that had the negative and I'm good. Never took any money or went to collections.

Paypal cannot legally take money from your account unless you authorize it, k_schutte you got fucked. Should have called the bank and told them you didn't authorize it.

If my account balance remains in negative and if it is not going to affect my credit score or anything then I will just say good bye to my account lol, fuc k them, I am not going to pay 625 bucks back when I dont have the phone back thats BS!

P.S. For you who said the buyer is an idiot for buying 600 bucks phone.. actually maybe he is stupid for shelling out more than 550 bucks, but I lol'd hard when you said you can get a 3gs for 200 bucks, thats only possible with a contract.

I had someone dispute a package I sold on ebay. Dude claimed he never got what I sent. I had tracking numbers so I raised hell and called paypal a bunch of times until they finally released my money back to me. I did not ship using the paypal label printing thing either.
