LOL true but I am quoting yours about wanting to help japan out. I have had and seen trouble with ford as well.

And likewise yours is obviously bias toward anti American. However, he is at least fighting his case with verifiable sources.
I own a Mercury Grand Marquis, so my biased must be broken. His sources are legit, but his interpretation to what they mean is not. There is a reason these companies took a shit, and it's because their cars for the most part ****.

Oh I am all for helping the American population with jobs and all. BUT when a crappy car company that makes non reliable cars and asks for had outs I laugh. If they were making good reliable cars that ran for years and years without having to have repairs done than I am all for helping them out. Today people are watching there money very cautiously and there not going to want to throw there money into a money pit like GM. But until I see a GM product that is as reliable as my civics than I don't want to hear it.
There you go again spouting off with bullshit. This is not true.

Yes I'm biased quoting JD Power, a California based publication and one of the most trusted sources in this category

I guess my interpretation of a top 10 list that has 3 American cars as the top is wrong. Toyota also took a shit and received government money (Japan) but we don't talk about that.

That list doesn't mean much. For one it doesn't say what the problems are. Two, when you have a problem with a Honda, their customer service is top knotch. My Mom's Civic dumped the ****** 10k miles past the warranty, and Honda paid for EVERYTHING.

So what is the point of this thread? What are you even debating?

Wrong for the most part. Sales slumped, but the kicker was legacy costs and mismanagement through the years that are biting them in the *** now. Not the quality or lack theirof in cars. Other mfgs aren't as burden by the slow down. Their cars being good or bad is hardly the reason for their demise. If it plays any role it is a very minute one.

There is a lot of difficulty in measuring that since customer service, as that ranges from dealership to dealership and manager to manager. I am sure somewhere, a Ford customer was given similar service and a Honda customer was told to STFU, GTFO and GDIAF.

OK then if it doesnt say the problems, what makes you the expert that says the problems were more severe even if less frequent?

It is a valid point unless you can SHOW otherwise you pompous prick.

But isn't that what warranties are for?
