GM exiting bankruptcy

Which is why Honda, and Toyota's sales numbers are so bad...

No, Ford/GM knew they could make a truck for 10k, and charge a dumb *** rich person 50k for it. They knew it wouldn't last, but they turned a blind eye to it.

exactly. I think they should've been stuck in bankruptcy this whole time and not have to pay back shit to the government

and they still make them and can't make a single decent small car based on consumer wants.
Because they still sell //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

The Fusion Hybrid has received rave reviews, the Cadillac CTS was named car of the year, and the top 4, and 5 of the top 10 mid sized cars as ranked by US News and World Report (which bases their rankings off of nationwide reviews) are either Ford or GM.

Trucks are selling? Based on what? All the reports i've seen are of plummeting truck sales unless you can show me different.

The fusion is not a truck, it's a car, and it's a hybrid, which is what consumers are leaning towards now. And you're naming one car that is decent, but what about all the other cars? And once again, the CTS is not a truck.

Really though, look at Escalades... They aren't worth no 50k. It's a rebadged tahoe, with some fancier chrome, etc.
and IIRC the "hybrid" model is like 3mpg more than the normal one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Fords cars are excellent. I love my Focus. I've driven the newer models and they're excellent as well. My dad used to sell Mercury vehicles, and I got to drive the Milan (fancier version of the Fusion) and it drove smoothly, has plenty of power, and its quiet. The new Taurus is HUGE inside. Even with the front seats all the way back, someone who is 6 feet tall will still have plenty of room.

People need to get past the stereotype that Ford's cars ****. In my book, they're great.

The Ford F150 was the best selling vehicle in the united states in 2008 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

who said they ****?

they are obviously doing alright, seeing as they didnt need a dime from the gov't. and i thought mercury was a step down from the ford model, and the lincoln was a step up.
