anyone here ever charged with trespassing?

i was arrested and charged with trespassing june 27th and went to court afew days ago and now i am considering getting a lawyer for my trail on the 4th of aug..

Im a college student that was attending a party (block party) in an apt. complex for 10mins and then tons of cops came in from the exit and entrance arresting everyone that didnt live out there..

How can i fight this? i dont wanna pay any money and i **** sure dont want a criminal record for this nonsense...

I got caught with 5 other people ***** in a pool at likr 3 am, none of us were 21 and we had 2 bottles of alcohol. The cop ran our names through the computer to check if any of us had warrants, made us pour out what was left in the bottles and told us to go home and not come out without clothes again or he'd ticket us next time. lol your story sounds like BS.

it was a block party so its like there no real "host" of the party just alotta ppl outside dancing, drinking, and smoking...the area it was in was notorious for drugs and violence..well at least thats what the cop told me...

if only i wish it was like that for us..they arrested 26 ppl and had 10 juveniles

ah, so you were outside? I've never heard of a "block party" but that was really stupid. If your outside drinking (not on your own property) the cops can pretty much do whatever they want, (drunk in public, trespassing, etc)

X2... why would you party out on the street, thats not a block party, its called a "lets see how many of us can get tickets and jail-time party" a pool is one thing but we always cover our tracks a little by switching the sign on the pool to Open before we go in, its kinda BS but it has helped us get out of trouble by playing dumb before, haha

Usually a block party is thrown by someone who came up with the idea.

Surprised it wouldn't go back on them.

in the holding room everyone was charged with trespassing..they didnt even charge ppl with drinks, or drugs..there was ppl throwing up in there because they was so drunk..i really dont get it...
