glue/surround

:thumbsdow ok what am i supposed to be so careful about? getting it on my skin or the cone and stuff? :crazy:eek: and do one of you have an epoxy you would recomend

The best thing to use to attach a cone or dustcap back to a sub is Rubber weather stripping glue. it's made to re-attach your weather stripping molding around your trunk or doors. you can buy it at pep boys or a similar auto store. it comes in a tube and is basically black rubber drying type glue. i used it on a few subs where the dustcap started separating from the cone. it always worked flawlessly for me. i still have an old Kicker KSR that has that glue on it for over a year and it still sounded brand new when i took it out of my car.

Alpine type S are like 50 bucks on ebay. Why dont you just get a new one or another one?
i thought about it but being 15 and just working for my mom at her business a couple days a week and needing to save money for a new carb for my truck i need all the money i can get
