hey guys whats up, kinda new here but not a stranger of car audio, and have done a lot of reading up on glassing speaker boxes but have a couple of ?'s. i have 4 jlaudio 10w6 i want to put 2 on the left side and 2 on the right side of my 01 cherokee leaving the middle of my trunk open for tools n stuff, i do electrical work, then im going to build an amp rack along the back of the rear seats outta glass too but thats no issue right now. im going to do the mold to directly fit my trunk, so i know that u have to lay down tape and then foil if u perfet, and then resin it till its hard and then use mdf and hot glue to support the woofer rings, and dowells to hold them up, then someone told me to streetch it with like a nylon or panty hose typa material cause it is very flex. should i use this mat. or suttin else and any info would help greatly, one more thing how can i make sure my box doesnt sound hollow and plasticy, what can i put in there

use fleece(sweatpants material or even pajama material, I use the material they make womens bigshirt nightgowns with myself.) to cover your mdf rings to get your shape. resin the fleece then use mat and resin on the inside to reenforce it. make it alot easier to smooth afterwards.
