How am I being close minded? I say that something can happen not that it absolutely will. You and many others say NOTHING will happen with an absolute tone. Who exactly is being close minded here? Perhaps we should work on your definition of being closed minded.

Ok but a religious person just like you would also say that GOD has a plan for everybody and he told the scientists to do this experiment.

Monarchy lasted hundreds of years more than it should of because the church argued that you can't kill the king because the king is appointed by GOD.....

Somebody could argue "The scientists shouldn't stop because they were "appointed" by GOD as scientists and that he already knows everyone's destiny.

Also during WW2 other scientists believe that testing the atom bomb in the desert would destroy the universe or cause our atmosphere to disintegrate.

None of that happened. So for everyone saying it will cause the earth to end or destroy the universe stfu. The truth is human knows what will happen until it happens...

Also i guess you are into politics? correct? has any of the president you have voted for said anything about paying farmers not to grow food.

A little strange we pay farmer not to grow things when there are so many starving folks.

We have many more problems to fix than just hungry people. We have caused many problems plaguing earth right now. ok so say hyothetically when they do this expirement they have found the way to create Nuclear fision and they can control it. All of a sudden polution would go way down, we could have nuclear powered cares and then ship the waste materials to pluto in our new fision spacecrafts. have you ever thought about the positives that could possibly come out of this? this would solve the plaguing.
