I loled.. This is coming from a person that used to always be in trouble and with the wrong people.. I stay out of trouble now, so this is my opinion since i'm completely different about my life now. Hand it over to the people that will enjoy taking care of him, having a chat with him, and if he wants to act like he has a problem, they can help him change his mind. Police are useless, at least where i'm from. I believe in whatever works.

She probably can't get a restraining order unless he tells her in person that he is going to kill her, over the phone usually is not enough evidence to produce one sadly but true.

Wrong. She can get a restraining order on whoever she likes, no matter how the message was delivered. There doesn't even have to be a reason at all for it. If she feels threatened by that person, she can get one.

The only good thing about the restraining order is that it blocks all contact with her. That means if he calls her again, she can have him arrested. Her word is all she needs since she has the restraining order. I think he'll get the picture after SWAT comes to his house...disrespects his family.

Nice try but I had a GF many years ago who got a call at work from an ex who said he we going to come and kill her and her boss (he had told him not to come back to the store again after they started fighting in the store) AND he called her at home and told her the same thing. She called the police they came to her house took a report and said they could not do anything unless he showed up at work or at the house and said it in person to her directly.

I actually confronted the guy myself a few weeks later when I saw him at a deli and after talking to him for a little bit realize how fucked this bitch was and she was one of those ones who likes to play headgames a lot, some guys just can't handle it as well as others.

Maybe you got the situation confused. She filed a report, meaning she was trying to press charges. The police would need physical evidence in order to do that. She would have to go down to the courthouse to actually file a restraining order. In order to do that she doesn't need any more evidence than a verbal threat. I've been through this so I know.
