I have an Explorer, plenty of room. I want to do something new on the cheap.

Here's what I have to play with: 1999 USAmps HC-50 modded.

750-900 @1ohm

1200-1450@.5

1500-2000@.25 but will get hot after 20-30 mins, so forget about that.

I'd like to do a single sub setup at 1/2 ohm, really love an 18....so.

What sub can I get at around 150 or less shipped to my door with wonderful sound quality and ability to go deeeeeeeep.

Box isn't an issue, I will build to specs, I have lots of 3/4 birch.

Help me out here, and please do not suggest Alpine or Sony.
