I've actually heard that their line array doesn't sound too bad vs most bose products....

Not that I am saying bose makes something good... LOL....

Over a year ago, someone on the PE forum auditioned the Bose array

as he's in a band and they loved the sound vs. traditional gear. Problem was,

the price tag was very high and he wanted to know if there was a low cost

alternative DIY style. In the end, I gave him ideas via email and he built

a stackable NSB line array in a small tower powered by active electronics,

EQ to tame response, and some proamps.

He made one test box, loved it. He made more and they did gigs with it

and were amazed at it's level of performance as there was no mic feedback, etc,

very clear sound. Cost him 49 cents for the mids and the cost of plywood, glue

and nails... lol

I have pics of that simple setup.
