Getting two 15's

2 15" Brahmas or 2 15" XXX's.

The XXX's have a bit more SPL and require more watts

The Brahmas have a bit more SQ and require less watts

these are ████'n good subs

BTW

i have 2 15" Brahmas ported to 35hz.....they pound and have very good SQ

Where can you buy the XXX's? because I don't see a sales thing on the RE site. Also what amps would you use to power them? Tell me about a good head unit and tweeters too. By the way I appreciate the info.

You have to phone RE to get an order. If there is a local shop near you that sells RE you will have to buy from them( policy)

For amps, something that can pump out 3k watts, or 2 1500w amps strapped.

Good H/U would be Pioneer Preimer, Eclipse and Alpine's high end units.

for tweeters, i can get you a deal on some CDT tweeters.

There aren't any local shops near me that sell any RE products, I already know because I've gone everywhere looking for good subs. About how much do the XXX's run each? As for an amp that can pump out that many watts, I don't have a clue on I will just have to search around.

there are a TON of amps that'll do the job

i'll name a few

pg 1200.1

eD NINe.1

jbl 1200.1 or 1201.1

hifonics 1000D or 1500D

directed 1100D or 1500D

tsunami 1800(if you can find 2)

and there's lots more, i'm just too lazy to name all of em

Yeah, I was looking around and I found the Hifonics 1500D and thought two of those would be nice. By the way any of you know the dimensions of a box I would need to hold two 15's ported in a Jeep Grand Cherokee? After that I will have all the info I need and I can start ordering this stuff.

it'd work out much easier, if you gave us the max dimensions you wanna use, then someone could figure out a box for ya......you'll want at least 4 cubes a piece for the xxx15's ported

just thought i'd let u know. those Death penaltys dont cost that much. Thats just a retail price type thing. the Death Penalty 15s will run you about 385shipped each. But the downside to that is, they are on backorder. They are waiting on some custom made parts from florida. and all those huricanes and stuff threw things off. Im also waiting on one of them. From what i hear, they are nice subs. I have one sitting here but need another for my setup

oh and dont forget to get the proper wire size/fuse size for your setup. and with large amounts of power, it will be a good thing to invest in a high output alternator and do your big 3 upgrade. If you are planning on running your system alot with your car off, you also might want to invest in a yellow top........Figure if you do everything right the first time, you wouldnt have to do much upgrading in the future..

I will give max dimensions tomorrow morning after I get off of work. I will go and measure the room that I have available to use. I think I can get a good alternator from a friend that sold his system, but what is a yellow top? I don't think I've ever heard of one. Or maybe I have and just forgot.

Hey supa c, I just checked out that yellow top on that site and looks awesome as hell, I think they carry some at autozone so I'm going to go check on the price for one, and by the way should I get the dual purpose or the commercial yellow top? By the way I slept when I got in from work this morning so I will post the max dimensions tomorrow as well.

no way in heck will you find it at autozone.

If you want, get the commercial batt.

you will have to modify your battery terminals but IMO its worth it
