getting some JL's tomorrow

i am buying 3 JL 10's probly the w0, not sure on the model. they are a guy i work withs. they are just sitting in his basement and he needs money. so i am giving him $60 for all 3 and the box. they still work and are only 4-5 years old. some new stuff to play with i will post picks when i get home from work tomorrow.

i am excited. we were at the bar the other night and he asked me when i was gonna pay him and pick the subs up, and i was like what are you talking about. i had forgotten that like 3 weeks earlier i had offered him $60 for them. so i told him to throw them in his truck tomorrow and i will pay him.

well i am gonna get them tomorrow kuz he wants to hear them wang one more time. so we are gonna hook them up to my amp. i just have to figure out why my sub isnt working i think i just popped the fuse at the distroblock, no biggy i have more fuses

^ I had 3 JLw0 10's in a prowedge box! It would WANG!! about a month after use 2 of the 3 sub's surrounds SHREDDED! at first one came unglued so i unhooked it. then running the same 800watts to the other two, the foam surround ripped into pieces. tears and holes everywhere! Ha. I was out $100 but it dont matter, I bought em from my brother who needed the money..

i am thinking he has them wired to 2 ohm so i will be pushing 400 at them when we test them. he has never taken them out of of the box. they are in a custom built box for an older chevy standard cab and he had a zapco amp on them, back when he had money.

yeah i know, i was just joking around at work like shit i will give you $60 to get them out of ur basement and he was like sold! i have to break the change bin open for $30 of it. i dont know what i am gonna do with them yet.

pics up in a minute or 5. they are single 12ohm wired in parrellel so what ohm does that give me? i think my multimeter read 4. they sounded good.
