Sitting in a hot, crowded room all day isn't something that is enjoyable, I had to serve as a teen court juror 6 times as part of my community service.

my dad got stuck on a week long case:crap: also sucked cuz i had to work for him, since he is the owner of his buss no one to work for him.

I got a paper in the mail telling me I have jury duty on the 8th. Didnt think much of it. I kinda wanna do it actually.
But, I was recently hired as a life guard at a water park and I have life guard training 4 days after that.

If by chance I got put on a case or whatever, and it goes on for more than 3 days, I could potentially be screwed because missing out on the training would basically mean no job for me.

Thoughts? How long does jury duty usually last for if your on a case?

You DO NOT wanna do jury duty. Close as I got was a criminal case. I did not get picked. Last year I sat all day and did not get picked. If you go as far as jury selection, you might get screwed. With that attitude though, your *** will get picked. Lawyers love a mofo that is interested in the judicial system.

Think back to the OJ Simpson murder case. It can last that long Brah.

Did you do or say anything to not get picked? Or did you just act normal and they just told you to go home cause you werent picked.
