If you dont want a import that's your call, but the difference in quality is just a fact.
why do you think a toyota or honda product will have a significantly higher resale value??? because they weather time much better then there American counterparts.

Now dont get me wrong I like american cars (look at my screen name!) but unless you are looking at a ls series motor car or a diesel they cant hold there own to a toyota/honda

compare a sierra 1/2 ton to the new tundra... your a wrench right? look at the specs, look at the problems per mile driven! look at the resale diff! the car and driver reports! etc etc.

same thing between the camery and whatever gm has to compare to that

if you like the American cars then cool, but dont try to say they are better, there is a reason GM lost it's position to toyota and it's not due to how kick azz of a car GM makes (diesel trucks and vetts aside).

Then explain to me why GM made a profit of 870mil, Ford 740mil. This quarter, sales are going up now. Toyota is NOT part of the UAW and rumor has it they are taking their plants back overseas. I don't know much about it though.

I sure hope my instructor that teaches for GM doesn't pull shit out of his ***.

Don't get me wrong Toyota has amazing methods too, but where did they get them in the first place? Where do the ideas come from. Seriously. Comparing before yota got big, ect.
