getting new AT&T phone, suggestions?

i have the Karma by motorola, its a pretty slick phone, great reception, keyboard is a little small though b ut if i can work it then anyone can.

camera takes pretty good pictures as well, and its durable, ive dropped it hard a few times.

Check Amazon for killer deals. I got a blackberry curve 8900 for 50 bucks with a two-year contract extension. I know the nokia e71x was like 30 or something, both amazing phones in my opinion, although a data plan is strongly encouraged.

stay away from smartphones unless you need it....

my phone can do most of what a smartphone can do without the extra plan

You can't get a smart phone without a data plan. I wish you could though I really wanted the htc tilt 2.
