The judges will clarify what class you will be exactly in. I forget how it works if you aren't a member and don't have fuses in there. Something like cone area + 1/2 the amps highest rating.

It will be in a mid-high street class. A

As for getting louder, there's a few things you can do. Try flipping the box around if you can. In MECA you can have any doors/windows open. Open the driver's door and have the meter on the passenger seat.

If your backseat does not fold down from the factory, you are allowed to unbolt it and lay it flat on the bottom so it acts like a factory fold-down seat.

Usually first time competitors are in amateur street, but since you have two batteries you are automatically bumped into street.

ok yea my back seat unbolts and i hear a big difference so i am gonna do that tommorrow should i take off the headrests. do you think facing the box around like that tommorrow would make a difference not being sealed completely sealed off from trunk

The headrests must be in place for street class, so don't take those off.

The box can make a difference, or it can hurt you. The only way to know for sure is to test it out.

I would leave the sub back, port back and take out the seat. Should be close to 140 IMO. Is a big *** trunk though. I think switching it around with subs facing in wouldn't help you unelss you sealed it completely off from the trunk.

will they let me move my back and turn it around in the clinic and see if there is a difference??

well i missed the clinics so i had to just compete blindly and go by ear with what would be the loudest. i was told by three different judges the person looking at my setup in the lane and chris gregory and they all told me i was gonna be in street 5 but i somehow showed up in street 1.

i pulled a 136.8 placed third in street 1 out of 5 people i think first place was 142. somethin lol
